I like him, he likes her

I read this 630 page book in literally 2 days. No I am not a fast reader, but this read was phenomenal. I could never put this book down. Mainly because it was like someone recorded my freshman year and wrote a book about it.
Alice McKinley starts out her freshman year of high school dating a classmate named Patrick. Alice's dad is getting married to her 7th grade english teacher. She has two best friends named Elizabeth (Liz) and Pamela (Pam) who are always there for her. Freshman year is really starting to look up. Then the school year really starts. A new girl named Penny ruins all chances she had with her boyfriend. And Pam and Liz start to leave out Alice in their weekend hang outs. Freshman year isn't so fun anymore.. but hopefully things will get better? Cross your fingers.
Anyone from the ages of high school and up should read this book! It's completely girly and sums up everyone's freshman year. Go buy it. Right now.
